Dear civil registry staff of our prestigious Council,

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your active participation and commitment during the training seminar on digitising the civil registry. This was a crucial step for our Council in modernising our services and meeting the growing needs of our community.

Digitalising our civil registry is a major step forward in our quest for modernity. Thanks to this training, you have acquired new skills and in-depth knowledge of how to use digital technologies to manage the registration of births, marriages, deaths and all other activities linked to civil status.

I am convinced that these new skills acquired under the Support for the Modernisation of the Civil Registry programme in partnership with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) will enhance our efficiency and accuracy in record-keeping. The processes will be simplified, the time taken reduced and the quality of service improved. By adopting these technologies, we will also be able to guarantee better data security, protect citizens’ confidentiality and prevent the risk of information being lost or manipulated.

I am proud of each and every one of you for your openness and commitment to innovation. Your enthusiasm and willingness to adapt to change demonstrate your professionalism and dedication to our community.

We are now ready to put into practice what we have learned at this seminar. I’m counting on your continued collaboration to make this transition to digital civil status a success. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our community and facilitating access to administrative services.

It’s time for us to come together as a team to meet the challenges of the future and continue to offer high-quality services to our citizens. Together, we will become pioneers in the modernisation of civil status.

Once again, I would like to thank you for your diligence and dedication. We now have the tools we need to make our society more modern, efficient and accessible.
