Within the framework of the “PESOP” project in partnership with the German collaboration (GIZ), the Civil Status Room of the Dschang Town Hall was the setting for an important meeting on Tuesday, 05 December 2023. The main objective of this meeting was to present the extension of the first phase of the “PESOP” project in its two major areas, namely social and economic profiling,

which will be piloted at operational level by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees with the technical support of its implementing partner “JIPS” specialising in the cross-checking of information and data relating to internally displaced persons and gender-based violence, which will be piloted by “GIZ”.

The meeting was chaired by the 4th Deputy Mayor, Mr Eric Lionel NSANU, representing the standard-bearer of the mandate of challenges who was unable to attend.
