A delegation of the Cameroon Football Federation of Mr. Eto’o Fils Samuel, was in Dschang again to ensure and reassure himself of the implementation of this project carried by the two institutions. The head of the delegation led by, Mr. Maboang was this Thursday, May 11 in the university city accompanied by technicians of Fecafoot including; Mr. Nyetam Cézar, permanent member in charge of infrastructure and equipment of Fecafoot and Mrs. Foé Danielle, head of construction project at Fecafoot. On behalf of the Mayor Jacquis Kemleu, who was unable to attend, the Secretary General Mr. Kenfack François received the delegation at the Town Hall before taking them to the S.D.O of Menoua and then to the site where the complex will be built. In the exchanges, the S.D.O reassured Fécafoot of the availability of a space of 5ha 1850m2 whose Declaration of Public Utility (DPU) had been signed on April 22, 2022 by the Minister of Survey and Land Tenure. He also reassured the delegation of the visit he had made upon his arrival to proceed with the delimitation of the said space with the divisional services of survey and similar; which made it possible to draw up a report and transmit it to Yaounde on 29 March 2023. To date, the site that is to host this complex has 13 occupants, including 3 buildings and the rest fruit trees and seasonal crops. The project is still awaiting the Prime Minister’s decree for the compensation of the victims whose value is estimated at 45,504,000 francs.

Contacted by phone, Mayor Jacquis Kemleu reassured the delegation of the commitments of the municipality, of which he holds the keys, to provide them with all the necessary facilities to launch the work. He reassured them of the launch of the earthworks planned in the coming days.

The delegation said they came to Dschang to inquire about the legal status of the site and returned with a very positive result. This is what justified a field trip to confirm the effectiveness of the delimitation and the obtaining of the necessary files that will be put on the table of the executive committee of Fecafoot which will sit from May 26 to 27.
