The instruction for this statistical process was given by fax message N°000367/MF/MINDDEVEL/SG/DSL/DSLB of 10 June 2022 of the Minister of Decentralisation and Local Development relating to the state of data collected in the accounting of civil status records established in all the main and secondary centres from 1960 to 2020 of the Dschang Council. This has been done to date by the person in charge of the archives service, Mr Fouelefack Gabriel. The statistics show that from 1969 to 2007 before the reform of the councils, the Rural Council of Dschang had 17113 birth certificates, 3082 marriage certificates and 2595 death certificates. Similarly, the former Urban Council of Dschang and current the Dschang Council recorded from 1952 to 2020, 91173 births, 7208 marriages and 9794 deaths. As a result of this work, the archives contained in the Dschang Council have a total of 111736 birth certificates, 10553 marriage certificates and 12666 death certificates.
