Professor Emile TEMGOUA, 1st Deputy Mayor of the Dschang Council, in charge of environmental issues, led civil society actors into the field on Thursday, 25 May 2023 for yet another operation to clean up the town and raise awareness among the population. These CSOs, determined to make their contribution to support the efforts of the municipality to keep the city clean, worked for this latest outing at the main entrance to the city. The CSOs involved, including ASEL, YOUTH’S HOPE, DECENTAS and the Young Municipal Council, cleaned up the surfaces, cleaned out the gutters, weeded the roadside verges and raised public awareness, all under the technical guidance of the head of the Hygiene and Sanitation Department, who did a remarkable job.
