This amount is up compared to that of the 2023 financial year, i.e. an increase of
Two hundred and twenty-nine million six hundred and thirty thousand nine hundred and fifty-six francs (229,633,956) CFA in absolute value, is explained by control of the operation to rationalise and digitise revenue on the one hand, and on the other hand it is due to the request for financing agreements for the implementation of major development projects with FEICOM and other partners as far as investment is concerned and to government prescriptions
on the operating side, to improve the remuneration of municipal staff in order to cope with the high cost of living.
The Sinior Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Menoua Division, Mr. ITOE Peter MBONGO, in his closing remarks at the session of the Municipal Council devoted to the vote and adoption of the budget, congratulated the Communal Executive led by its standard bearer, Lord Mayor Jacquis Gabriel KEMLEU TCHABGOU, for its leadership, its enlightened vision of development and its remarkable achievements. He also stressed that the Dschang Council is one of the few Councils in Cameroon whose staff have no salary arrears.
