The Dschang Council, represented by its standard-bearer the Lord Mayor, Mr Jacquis Gabriel Kemleu Tchabgou, is taking an active part in Nantes this Wednesday 18 September 2024 in #NantesDigitalWeek, a large-scale event dedicated to digital innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Under the initiative of Mr Francky Trichet, Deputy Mayor of Nantes and responsible for Innovation and the Digital Sector, this meeting brings together cities from Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Quebec and Senegal. Together, these local authorities are working to build local digital governance, which is essential for sustainable and innovative development.

IA AT THE SERVICE OF PUBLIC POLICY

Artificial Intelligence represents a unique opportunity to improve public policies at both national and local level. The discussions and exchanges at this event will provide a better understanding of how AI can be integrated into our development strategies to meet today’s challenges.

STRENGTHENED INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The participation of the Dschang Council in this event underlines the importance of cooperation with the city of Nantes. This collaboration enables us to share experiences, knowledge and innovations that are beneficial to our respective communities. The AIMF “Innovative Cities” Commission, chaired by Nantes, is an ideal framework for strengthening these links and promoting joint initiatives in favour of sustainable development.

TOWARDS AN INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE DIGITAL FUTURE

The Dschang Council is determined to work towards an inclusive and sustainable digital future. Taking part in #NantesDigitalWeek is an important step in this process, enabling us to draw inspiration from best practice and develop innovative solutions for the well-being of our citizens.
