On the occasion of the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Dschang Council and Nkoteng, the strong Menoua community living in this council of the Upper-Sanaga Division was mobilized in all directions. Mobilized from the afternoon of Thursday June 20 to offer a warm and exceptional welcome to Lord Mayor Jacquis Kemleu and the delegation he led, it was with joy and satisfaction that the atmosphere remained convivial and good-natured. The cosmopolitan nature of the town of Nkoteng means that a large proportion of its inhabitants have left the Menoua Division to settle here for administrative or professional reasons. It was an opportunity for them to renew ties with their relatives who had left Dschang to build a bridge between the two divisions. For an hour and a half after the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Dschang Council and Nkoteng, Lord Mayor Jacquis Kemleu held talks with the community to demonstrate Dschang’s willingness to support Menoua residents wherever they may be. Gathered in the Civil Status Room of the host council, the community leader and the president discussed the opportunities and achievements of the Council with which Dschang has just become involved. A few tips and techniques were shared to ensure that this community always marks and positively impacts its presence and commitment to the development ideals of the Council in which it resides. In the same spirit, the mayor promised to make his modest contribution to the construction of their community home to facilitate their meetings and gatherings.
